n a pre-Cannes move, Thomas Jane is on board to star as a war veteran in the indie thriller “Standoff.”
Producers are Goldrush Entertainment’s Eric Gozlan and Lee Clay of First Point Entertainment. Paradigm arranged financing and represents North American rights. International rights have not been assigned.
Adam Alleca is making his feature directorial debut from his own script, in which a war veteran with a shotgun and one shell who must protect a child witness from an assassin. Shooting is set for the summer in Ontario, Canada.
Alleca’s writing credits include “Home,” starring Topher Grace for Blumhouse; and “Cell,” starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson for the Genre Co.
Jane is best known for starring in “Hung” and “The Punisher.” He will be seen in “Somnia” for Relativity Media and “The Veil” for Universal and Blumhouse.
Jane is repped by Paradigm and Jamie Afifi at Ziffren Brittenham. Alleca is represented by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
